Amazon Pay Integration

Increase conversion, reduce fraud costs and streamline the check-out experience with the trusted convenience of Amazon Pay. With the LimeLight Amazon Pay integration, current Amazon customers can subscribe to your offers using information already stored in their Amazon account, without ever leaving your site.

You must obtain the Seller ID and MWS Auth Token from their Amazon Seller Central prior to setting up the Amazon Pay gateway.

Sign Up for Amazon Pay

You will first need to sign up for an Amazon Pay account. For more information on signing up for Amazon Pay reference Amazon’s step by step guide.

Once you signed up for Amazon Pay to open the Seller Central website. Seller Central is an easy-to-use website where you will manage the integration of your website with Amazon Pay, download settlement reports, and manage disputes.

Configuring Amazon Pay in LimeLight

After signing up for your Amazon Pay account, you can enable your Amazon Pay as a gateway provider in your platform.

To configure Amazon Pay Gateway into your Lime Light CRM, you will go to Payments > Gateways > Actions > Add a New Provider Profile and select Amazon Pay (Alternative Payment) from the Provider drop down menu  and fill out the gateway parameters.

These parameters are briefly described here for your reference:

Alias: Create a name for this profile.  For internal purposes only, it helps you identify your gateway among several others in your CRM.

Seller ID: This uniquely identifies the merchant. You get this identifier from Amazon Seller Central.

Access Key: You get this identifier from Amazon Seller Central.

Secret Key: You get this identifier from Amazon Seller Central.

Client ID: You get this identifier from Amazon Seller Central.

Client Secret: You get this identifier from Amazon Seller Central.

Currency: Amazon Pay currently supports USD, EUR, GBP, and CAD currencies.

Test Mode: Set to YES if you would like to use this gateway in test mode (will send requests to your sandbox).


Once your gateway profile has been created then you will go to your campaign, select Amazon Pay as the Payment Type and assign the AMazon Pay gateway.

Configure Amazon Pay In Storefront

To configure Amazon Pay navigate to Advanced Settings > check the Amazon Pay box >  enter in the same Seller ID and Client ID as entered in the LimeLight Platform > select the Button Color & Button Size that you want on your site > check the Sandbox box if the gateway profile is set to Test Mode = Yes in the platform > Save Changes

The Amazon Pay widget is now enabled in the checkout flow. You can change the button color and size at any time.


Notes: We recommend performing a couple of test transactions before taking live transactions.

  • Be sure to update both WordPress and the LimeLight platform when switching from test mode to live.
